Evolving Fixie: Going Real-Time

Fixie has been at the forefront of LLMs since we started the company in 2022. Along the journey, we've worked with hundreds of customers and partners as they've worked to integrate the power of LLMs into their workflows. This has allowed us to see first-hand both the potential — and the challenges — that come with deploying LLM-powered solutions.

Along the journey, we've become convinced that the real potential of AI lies outside of the text-box. In order to unlock the full potential of LLMs and their benefits, we have to move them into messy world of real-time human interaction. We're making this possible.

Moving forward, we're focusing our efforts on real-time capabilities and building multi-modal models. As a part of this, we're making a change in our offerings. More details on the timeline and next steps are below.

Starting today, you'll no longer be able to sign up for a Fixie account without an invitation. We'll be working with a small set of partners that are interested in real-time, voice-focused applications. If you're interested in working with us, please reach out at hello@fixie.ai.

For existing Fixie Console users, we'll keep supporting our classic chat-only service until June 7th, at which point we'll be turning down those services.

In order to help you transition, we’ve put together a list of alternative offerings for building and maintaining chat-based agents. We will keep the list updated with options and alternatives (if we’ve missed any, please let us know).
